Defense Information Systems Agency Awards ENCORE II IT Support and Services Contract to Booz Allen HamiltonMcLean, VA — Booz Allen Hamilton today announced it has been awarded a contract under ENCORE II, a $12.2 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracting vehicle that provides information technology (IT) support and services to the Military Services, Department of Defense and other agencies of the federal government. Booz Allen is one of 26 contractors selected by the Defense Information Systems Agency to help design, develop and implement the next generation of IT architecture.

“Booz Allen and its dedicated team of large- and small-business partners covers the full range of IT support and services that DISA needs to complete its transformation to net-centricity,” said Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Trish Goforth. “The ENCORE II contract vehicle will draw upon Booz Allen’s wide range of expertise in program management, IT policy consulting and technology support and services.” 

The ENCORE II contract vehicle will support military and federal government agency IT programs and projects including the transition from legacy systems to Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES).  Booz Allen will assist these agencies in various IT areas including system engineering and integration for hardware and software procurements, operational support services and program management. The Booz Allen team will also provide in-depth expertise on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and change management principles in support of the agency’s mission.
