Booz Allen Wins Army Contract to Provide Training and Support Services to Maneuver Center of Excellence at Fort BenningMcLean, Va.—Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) today announced it has been awarded a contract to provide training and support services to the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. Fort Benning and the Maneuver Center provide agility and readiness training for soldiers and leaders of the U.S. Army. Booz Allen is one of seven large contractors issued an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity award totaling $458 million, which has a one-year base period and four option years.

Under the terms of the contract, Booz Allen will expand its current work with the MCoE to include General Technical and Analytical Support, Training Development Support, Doctrine Development Support, Capability Development Support, Training Instruction Support, Simulations and Analysis Support and Support Services at its location in Fort Benning, Ga.

Federal legislation mandated consolidation of the U.S. Army Armor School and Center and the U.S. Army Infantry School and Center to form the MCoE at Fort Benning.

“Fort Benning is a critical location for the U.S. Army, and will be for the foreseeable future,” noted Keith Catanzano, vice president, Booz Allen. Catanzano added, “This contract will support a vital U.S. Army training facility by deploying infrastructure and supporting services as Ft. Benning and the Maneuver Center of Excellence continue to grow and serve more and more warfighters.”

Booz Allen has a long history of working with the U.S. Army specifically on its training programs within the Training and Doctrine Command Schools and Centers of Excellence, all Army Commands, each Combatant Command, the Joint Staff, and NATO. In 2004, Booz Allen established a presence at Fort Benning, Ga., bringing support to the Maneuver Battle Lab and Army Experimentation.
