Booz Allen Wins Position on U.S. Department of Justice Contract to Support IT Modernization McLean, VA — Booz Allen Hamilton today announced it was named as a prime contractor on a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) contract to support DOJ as it modernizes information technology (IT) infrastructure across the law enforcement community.

The Information Technology Support Services 4 (ITSS-4) contract gives Booz Allen the opportunity to provide IT modernization and support services to a number of DOJ agencies, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA). Booz Allen is one of twenty prime contractors on the $1.1 billion indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity award, which has a seven-month base period and six option years.

“For nearly two decades, Booz Allen has served as a trusted partner to the U.S. Department of Justice, delivering technology solutions that enhance collaboration and communication, which helps to protect national security and the American people,” said Catherine Nelson, Senior Vice President, Booz Allen.

As the DOJ seeks to stay ahead of the rapidly changing IT environment by expanding and advancing current hardware, operating systems and software, this contract allows Booz Allen to offer a range of IT support services and expertise designed to improve internal DOJ business processes. This includes the analysis of costs, schedules and program effectiveness.

Booz Allen’s strong track record with the DOJ includes advancing internal information technology systems and optimizing automated-case management systems, as well as enhancing information-sharing through the development of the Law Enforcement Information Sharing Program.
