Booz Allen Hamilton Completes UAE Business Registration; Signs Lease to Expand Abu Dhabi Offices
The registration licenses Booz Allen to provide consulting services and products to UAE government and commercial clients, and allows officers and employees to apply for residential work permits. Don Pressley, Senior Vice President for international, leads the firm’s efforts in the Middle East, and expects to expand the locally-based staff to about 50 by the end of the current fiscal year.
The firm, which currently has offices at an interim facility in Abu Dhabi, expects to move into its large Etihad Towers offices within about six months. Etihad Towers is a five-building skyscraper complex located in the Al Ras Al Akhdar district of Abu Dhabi near the world renowned Corniche.
On August 1, Booz Allen Hamilton’s non-compete expired with the business it spun off three years ago, known as Booz & Co. Booz Allen Hamilton is bringing its full suite of capability service offerings into the Middle East market supporting Civil, Commercial, Defense and Security clients. Booz Allen’s initial commercial focus is on the financial, health care and energy industries.
“We’ve made a significant commitment to serving clients in the Middle East, and we’re demonstrating that by our investment in a highly-skilled UAE team and leasing first class facilities in Abu Dhabi,” Pressley said. “For more than 97 years, Booz Allen has helped our clients solve problems with missions that matter, and we bring to our UAE clients a heritage of client service and reputation for success that is unparalleled.”
