Abu Dhabi: Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading provider of management and technology consulting services to the U.S. government in defense, intelligence, and civil markets, has been awarded a $ 23.2 million contract to provide training and support services for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).

Booz Allen Hamilton will provide support services in the areas of training and education; engineering; program and financial management; plans and programs; communications, command, control, computers and intelligence and electronic warfare; naval operations; manpower and personnel management; technical support; logistic and supply; English-language training; special studies and management support services for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces associated with Saudi Naval Support Program requirements in the United States and Saudi Arabia.

Work will be performed primarily in the Kingdom of Saudi with some support from staff at the firm’s McLean, Va., headquarters,, and is expected to be completed in July 2013. This contract is funded by Saudi Arabia via the U.S Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.

The contract is covered by the FMS program of the United States, which facilitates the sales of U.S. military equipment, services and training to the allied sovereign nations. The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) as part of the United States Department of Defense acted as an intermediate between the RSNF and Booz Allen Hamilton during the signing of the contract.
