Booz Allen Partners with CDC's Center for Global Health to Bring Scientific Expertise to Developing Countries

MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) announced today that is has been awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) Center for Global Health (CGH). Booz Allen was one of five awardees of the BPA, which has a ceiling of $150,000,000, and will continue until July 14, 2020.

Booz Allen has a longstanding history of working with the CDC and its affiliated organizations to support US-funded global health programs. That support has taken multiple forms including capacity building through strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, training, program support services and in-country technical assistance.

For this project in particular, Booz Allen will be offering technical assistance, scientific services, health analytics, and various program activities to various international government, community and public health organizations. These collective efforts will help CDC's Center for Global Health to more effectively and strategically monitor funds, improve outcomes from its grants portfolio and support public health capacity building with its international partners.
