Booz Allen’s Response to Potential Government Shutdown

Booz Allen’s Response to Potential Government ShutdownThe impact of a federal government shutdown would vary given the nature and requirements of the specific contracts under which we work and the guidance we receive from our federal clients. We have reviewed existing contracts to determine what flexibility we will have to manage and redeploy staff during a shutdown. To provide an added measure of security to our employees in these uncertain times, Booz Allen will cover time charges for up to a week for those unable to work on client projects. We will re-evaluate the situation if there is a shutdown lasting more than a week. The firm will only resort to unpaid leave if there is very extended shutdown which we hope and expect will not be the case. There were government shutdowns in 1995 and 1996, and Booz Allen was able to manage these situations well and support our employees.
